Video privacy, redaction and analytics platform

Harness the power of video without compromising privacy

Pimloc’s platform, Secure Redact, is designed to responsible manage video files and live video.

Through automated video redaction, use video for more than just security without compromising privacy.

Protect personal data for DSARs, FOIAs, incident reports and sharing in captured video, and enable security and operational teams to use live video feeds for alerts, analytics and wider data access.

Responsibly manage video so all compliance, operations and security teams can access

Maintain data sovereignty

Ensure all video data can be processed within your required jurisdiction: Secure Redact has dedicated data processing for the UK, Europe and the US.

US customers’ data is processed in West Virginia, while UK and EU customers’ data is processed in Ireland.

How does the Secure Redact platform work?

We use the latest in machine learning and computer vision to train our algorithms to recognise personally identifiable information (PII) in a wide variety of image and video scenes. They recognise the identifiers (e.g. faces, heads and number plates) as a human observer would, and then anonymise and classify the information automatically.

Our technology can be deployed selectively, so it can remove some or all faces, and/or all vehicle registration details, or other identifying information. It has been trained to perform accurate detection and redaction on low-definition visual content, so our Secure Redact platform can deal with a large diversity of CCTV, body-worn cameras, road survey footage and other video surveillance data.

An hour of CCTV can contain upwards of 2 million faces. Manually redacting every image of personal data from every frame of a video is a time-consuming, mundane and difficult task that can take compliance and security managers days or even weeks to complete.

With Pimloc’s AI, you can protect all personal data in video by default and complete the task of redaction 280x faster.

Companies can be far more efficient: open up new opportunities to actively use video, or share video with employees, customers, corporate insurance companies, law enforcement and lawyers - all while staying compliant with data privacy laws and regulations.

“Automated anonymisation is the only way to keep up with changing privacy legislation and to responsibly unlock the value of aggregated video data for business operations.”
